Thomas Baskind is a 30-year veteran of the sales and marketing worlds with a wide <br/>breadth of executive-level experience. Mr. Baskind received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science from Fordham University. He continued higher education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. Thomas Baskind has put his journalism degree to good use by writing a number of industry articles dealing with sales performance and selling skilss, including one titled “Eight Key Steps to Building B2B Major Account Client Alliances.” Currently the Managing Director at Continental Corporate Services, Thomas Baskind handles marketing and sales for the firm. He introduced CCS Service 1st, an internal webinar series that pushed the company’s leadership marketing strategy. Thomas Baskind also manages private equity and corporate account relationships with the Blackstone Group LP and Luxottica Group. From 2007 to 2009, Thomas Baskind acted as Senior Sales and Marketing Manager at Corporation Service Company, where he led the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Under Thomas Baskind’s leadership, Corporation Service Company’s sales team won new clients including Major League Baseball and Royal Bank of Canada. In 2005, Thomas Baskind joined VMS, a leading news monitoring and media intelligence company. During an eight-month span, Mr. Baskind secured $3.5 million in new contracted business with clients including NBA Entertainment; Cingular Wireless (now A T & T Mobility); Gap, Inc.; and eBay, Inc. As Vice President of Major Accounts at Find/SVP, now part of Opinion Research Corporation, Thomas Baskind handled a client base of 1,600 and developed sales initiatives for many Fortune 500 companies. From 2002 to 2005, Thomas Baskind increased the company’s annual net gain by more than 100%. Prior to joining Find/SVP, Thomas Baskind served as the Director of Global Vendor Relations for the Global Investment Banking division
