About me
Tamara Redi enjoys time at her vacation home in the High County of North Carolina, exploring the outdoors with her dogs Brittany and Nikki. An avid hiker when out with her canine companions, Tamara Redi likes following the trails around the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park in Blowing Rock, as well as negotiating Grandfather Mountain’s Profile Trail. A 3-mile ascent of rugged, steep trail, the switch-backed path leads to the mountain’s peak of 5,400 feet. Tamara Redi also enjoys exploring the many other hiking and horse carriage trails in the area, such as those along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, which runs from Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. After a rigorous hike, Tamara Redi enjoys relaxing with her pets in front of a warm fire. When looking for pet-friendly accommodations during her travels, Tamara Redi delights in the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel’s comfortable accommodations. Tamara Redi follows a vegetarian diet and champions the rights of animals. A supporter of many international animal rescue groups such as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Farm Sanctuary, Inc., Tamara Redi also contributes to The Humane Society Wildlife Land Trust, which preserves natural habitats and creates natural sanctuaries through land donations and the purchase of strategic properties. Tamara Redi additionally commits time to care for the environment and recently aided in a shoreline clean-up sponsored by Friends of Jupiter Beach.
