Working out of his private practice, The Law Offices of Steven R. Liss, Steven Liss has provided the greater San Diego area with expert legal services for the past two decades. Steven Liss focuses mainly on family law with an emphasis on family formation. Over the course of his professional career, Steven Liss has assisted hundreds of families in matters of adoption, birth parent representation, family growth choices, gestational carriers, and ovum donation. Apart from family formation, Steven Liss provides services relating to juvenile law, special education law, and divorce proceedings. Supplementing his knowledge of the areas of law he practices, Steven Liss holds memberships with professional organizations, such as American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Egg Donation and Surrogacy Professional Association (EDSPA), the International Council on Infertility Information Dissemination (INCIID), The National Infertility Association (RESOLVE), and the Organization of Parents Through Surrogacy (OPTS). Steven Liss is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the California State Bar, and the American Bar Association. A charitable man, Steven Liss stays involved with numerous family-centered charitable endeavors. Currently, Steven Liss serves on the Committee on Children At Risk Task Force through the San Diego County Bar Association, as well as the Advisory Board for the San Diego Domestic Violence Council. Additionally, Steven Liss formerly served on the board of Kids’ Turn, an organization dedicated to helping children deal with their parents’ separation or divorce. Outside of his outstanding work on behalf of the community, Steven Liss makes generous donations to charities, such as the American Red Cross and the United Jewish Federation.
