Paul Matik

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mr. Paul Matik has reached an admirable level of success as a business leader in the Windy City. Earning his Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Paul Matik used his skills as a student to launch a career that would span numerous high-level positions, including his most recent role as Chief Financial Officer of a leading Chicago civil engineering and consulting business. An important member of the company's executive team, Paul Matik was responsible for maintaining the financial health of the business and managing its continued growth. Specific job duties held by Mr. Paul Matik during his tenure as Chief Financial Officer included the preparation and analysis of the company's financial statements, cost allocations and billings, cash management and projections, management of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and preparation of financial statements for the company's large joint venture. <br/><br/><br/><br/>Before taking on his role Paul Matik was well prepared for his work through similar positions at the American National Credit Card Company, Regensteiner Printing, and the accounting firm of Terrell, Weiss and Sugar. While earning his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Paul Matik was a member of two nationally recognized honor fraternities. Additionally, Paul Matik also received the distinction of being named an Edmund James Scholar through UIC's Edmund James Scholar Program, which is the school's widely respected undergraduate honors program. <br/><br/><br/><br/>Still based in the Chicago area, Paul Matik enjoys spending his free time in the company of his friends and family. A sports fan, Paul Matik proudly supports all of Chicago's professional teams, especially the Bulls, Bears, Blackhawks, and Fire. <br/><br/>
