About me

American musician and producer Martin Feierstein has enjoyed a diverse and fruitful career in the music industry over the course of several decades. Martin Feierstein's formal music training began in 1972 and continued throughout college, where he performed with the jazz ensemble and symphony orchestra. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College in 1984. While still attending college, Martin Feierstein entered the public arena, recording and performing live with several rock groups in the early 80s that received national attention. The Verge played support dates with The Ramones, Violent Femmes, Flipper, and other cutting-edge bands of the 80s, and their record Habitual EP earned positive reviews in magazines such as Trouser Press, Rockbill, and Maximum Rock and Roll. Also in the 80s, Martin Feierstein was a member of The Seclusions, a band whose LP, Isolation For Creation, was featured on MTV and included performances by Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Joey Ramone, members of Blondie, and The Psychedelic Furs. During his time in New York, Martin Feierstein hosted a radio program that frequently interviewed rock legends such as Bo Diddley and Eric Burden of The Animals. Martin Feierstein continued through the 90s and into the 21st century, performing, recording, and producing a wide variety of original music artists, rock legends, and national touring shows that span five decades of popular music.
