Martin Darveniza

A senior consultant in the field of tourism, property development, and strategic planning, Mr. Martin Darveniza began his successful career as Managing Director and CEO of Tabua Investments Ltd, the company responsible for the overall development of Denarau Island Resort. During his tenure as CEO and Managing Director, Mr. Martin Darveniza concurrently served as Executive Chairman of Denarau Corporation, the company managing the integrated resort structure for Denarau. For two decades, Mr. Martin Darveniza played a leading role in Denarau’s transformation. The initial Denarau Island Resort project consisted of only two hotels. Denarau now boasts numerous resort hotels, apartments, and condominiums valuing over one billion dollars. Martin Darveniza worked tirelessly to build this thriving resort and developed the Port Denarau Retail & Commercial Center, the Denarau industrial park, the Denarau Villa Commercial Center, and eight residential precincts. Darveniza was also the driving force behind the creation of the tennis courts and clubhouse, the championship golf course, as well as the Port Denarau Marina. At present, Mr. Martin Darveniza serves as Senior Consultant to PLACE Design Group, an international planning, design, and environmental services consultancy. Lending his comprehensive experience to the firm, Mr. Darveniza focuses his efforts on new development opportunities, strategic value creation options, consultant coordination, and providing superior project management for his clients.
