Inspired by an amazing range of artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Gladys Knight, Helen Merrill, and Janis Joplin, Marian Sawyer has created her own true sound and style performing classic renditions of many jazz favorites. With a wide range of vocal ability, Marian Sawyer sings her ballads with sultry and unforced emotion that supports her presence in the song and delivery. <br/><br/>Each of the five songs from her debut EP climbed to number 1 out of 31,000 Soundclick artists in her category of jazz, and the jazz vocal category in 2009. The songs were played over 36,000 times along with over 14,000 page views.
