About me
An attorney and consultant with a diverse work and educational history, Marc Brodherson has operated in such industries as law, finance, and entertainment. After high school, Marc Brodherson gained admission to Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, where he studied all manner of topics in the Humanities and Sciences, from September 1996 to June 2000. A History major during his time at Princeton, Marc Brodherson was a departmental standout, winning the Walter Phelps Hall Prize for his senior thesis in European History. Graduating with highest honors from Princeton in June 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Marc Brodherson moved to New York City and launched a career in the film industry. In August 2000, Marc Brodherson secured a position as Creative Executive at Emerging Pictures, focusing his professional efforts on the distribution and production of various independent feature films. Managing the internal production operations of Emerging Pictures for nearly three years, Marc Brodherson gained experience producing such motion pictures as Anthony Jaswinski’s Killing Time and Daniel Noah’s Twelve. Over the course of his tenure with Emerging Pictures, Marc Brodherson traveled to the Sundance and Austin Film Festivals, among others, to promote and seek distributors for his films. Following Emerging Pictures, Marc Brodherson enrolled at Harvard Law School, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and maintained involvement with a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities. A member of the Harvard Law School Board of Student Advisors, Marc Brodherson additionally gained a coveted internship as a summer associate for the New York- and Hong Kong-based law firm, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where he worked on banking investments, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and more.
