About S Manikandan Balasubramanian
An MBA Graduate, with dual specialization in Marketing & Advances in Management, I have been working in the software marketing field with a flair towards marcom for the last five years. My experience, though not long, has been in both IT products and IT services marketing and hence the span of the activities include brand promotion and brand positioning for both the niches.
The creative aspect and the cyclic nature of job profile that the marcom space demands is what I love being in this field. Also, being in this field has enabled me to get in touch with all the higher-ups of the company management which I think is a plus. Marcom field as such is quite in the budding stage and that with respect to software has been in the smoking stage. I reckon the maturity of this field with the proliferation of marcom specific courses in the B Schools across India.
I am here on this site to meet people with similar profile who could share their useful knowledge and also those who have been a part of corporate communications.
