About me

With a long list of professional achievements, Frank Cross has earned a reputation as a smart, hard working investment professional and businessman. He credits the non-profit organization, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, ("SEO"), for providing the entry point to his career on Wall Street. This organization provides internships on Wall Street to talented, under-represented minorities in college with the goal to land a full-time position upon graduation. Frank Cross utilized this network to receive an internship at Credit Suisse First Boston as a sophomore in college in New York and the following summer in London with the same firm. He ultimately received a full-time offer which he accepted as an Analyst in the investment banking program. Presently, Frank Cross is an investment analyst for a hedge fund based in New York. Prior to this role, he was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Consulting & Management, LLC, which he created in 2009 to leverage his personal relationships and utilize his experience in investment management. A few of his notable accomplishments include netting a New York Jets Wide Receiver a sponsorship with an energy drink company; acting as lead investment manager on a Cleveland, Ohio, residential property turnaround fund; and facilitating the acquisition of multiple Wendy’s franchises for a group of investors in Tampa, Florida. Prior to these roles, Frank Cross served in a number of positions in the financial sector, starting with Credit Suisse First Boston mentioned earlier, where he performed as a top-rated Investment Banking Analyst. After Credit Suisse, Frank Cross joined Castle Harlan, Inc., a private equity firm, as an Associate and participated in complex transactions, including the acquisitions of Baker & Taylor and Bravo/Brio restaurants. He later joined UBS O’Conner in the Credit Strategic Opportunities Fund which managed $1.3 billion. Frank Cross attended Yale University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and served on the Board of Directors for the college newspaper, The Yale Daily News. Outside of work, he enjoys exercise and playing basketball, football, and tennis. An adventurer as well, Frank Cross travels whenever time allows.
