Scott Tetreault

Dr. Scott Tetreault, an accomplished oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists, has a wealth of education and experience. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1984, Dr. Scott Tetreault completed post-baccalaureate studies in organic chemistry and physics at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1987. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 1991. Dr. Scott Tetreault completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Shands HealthCare, affiliated with the University of Florida Health Science Center, and the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, in 1994. He completed a two-year oncology fellowship at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in 1999. In addition to his extensive medical education, Dr. Scott Tetreault has worked as an instructor at several post-secondary institutions. From 1994 to 1995, he was Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Dr. Tetreault served as Clinical Professor of Medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, in 2006. The same year, he worked as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine-Medical Oncology at Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida. A highly trained investigator, Dr. Scott Tetreault has participated in dozens of clinical studies of cancer treatments. He also has published several articles on cancer treatment in medical journals. Dr. Scott Tetreault is licensed in Florida, Nevada, and California, and he is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialty of Medical Oncology, as well as by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Scott Tetreault holds membership in several medical professional organizations, and he has served as an executive board member of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology and the Community Oncology Alliance.
