Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Glenn Cohen specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and injuries of the hands, wrists, and elbows. Dr. Cohen obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center. Upon receiving his medical degree, Dr. Glenn Cohen began an internship and residency in Los Angeles County at the University of Southern California (USC) University Hospital. Dr. Glenn Cohen completed his orthopedic surgery residency in 1999, undertaking a hand surgery fellowship at New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts in 2000. Dr. Glenn Cohen possesses a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand and fulfilled the requirements of a microsurgery course at Massachusetts' Lahey Clinic Foundation, Inc. In addition, Dr. Glenn Cohen holds membership in the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has also acted as an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Medicine at USC. Dr. Glenn Cohen utilizes his expertise to treat fingertip injuries, fractures, arthritis, sports injuries, complex trauma, infections, occupational injuries, hand and wrist deformities, tumors, and other afflictions of the hands and forearms. When possible, Dr. Glenn Cohen opts for a combination of medication, injections, splinting, and therapy, effectively addressing patients' needs with these non-surgical techniques. Founding his private practice in Westlake Village, California in 2000, Dr. Glenn Cohen continues to enjoy success as an orthopedic surgeon, providing hundreds of patients with both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
