Arun Baheti runs Marshall & Swift’s government and appraisal sectors as Vice President of Government & Financial Services. Focused on business units that needed improvement, Arun Baheti entered the company with strategies to generate growth. By overhauling his division's brand and creating industry facing customer service, Arun Baheti put Marshall & Swift into a leading position in its industry. As a California bar member, Arun Baheti consults on intellectual property litigation issues for the company. Arun Baheti also establishes relationships with government officials on behalf of Marshall & Swift. Arun Baheti brings his prior experience in technology and team management to this position. Post-university at Macalester College, Arun Baheti received his Juris Doctor at the University of California, Los Angeles. Arun Baheti participated on the Advisory Board with the Next Generation Internet, a program aimed at keeping California at the leading end of Internet technologies, as well as the Rural e-Commerce Program, which offers solutions to telecommunications challenges in rural areas. As part of his charitable efforts, Arun Baheti founded Minnesota NativeNet, which connected Native American educational institutions together using low-cost Internet connections. As Managing Director for the California Democratic Party, Arun Baheti restructured the core research and field operations of the large political party organization. Arun Baheti reorganized voter outreach efforts through more sophisticated phone call, event, and direct mail systems. Arun Baheti conducted additional research on voting behaviors and demographics. One of Arun Baheti’s greatest professional achievements was the creation of the “MyCalifornia” web portal for the state of California. Appointed to the position of Director of eGovernment by Governor Gray Davis, Arun Baheti brought together all state services and information on one site.
