About me
Financier Andrew Srebnik continually finds meaningful ways to express his passion for helping others. When colleague and longtime friend Fred Gabler passed away in the 9/11 attacks, Andrew Srebnik joined with Gabler’s friends and family in support of Neil Goldberg in recording a benefit album for Gabler’s daughter and the newly inaugurated Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund. Parkinson’s research has also benefited from Andrew Srebnik’s assiduity. Andrew Srebnik’s acquaintanceship with Michael J. Fox inspired him not only to donate to Parkinson’s research, but also to secure the support of prominent Wall Street brokerages like Bear Stearns and Jefferies and Co. The Melissa Institute, which works to prevent violence against women; Starlight Starbright, which provides assistance to seriously ill children; and the University of Tennessee Benefactors Society also receive generous contributions from Andrew Srebnik. Additionally, the Srebnik family participates in the DNA Shoah Project, which is compiling DNA in an effort to reunite those separated by the genocide. Andrew Srebnik’s grandmother and father are Holocaust survivors, and Andrew Srebnik and the Srebnik family have been featured in a documentary about the project’s efforts. A New York City resident, Andrew Srebnik loves spending time with Laurie, his wife and college sweetheart, and their two small children. Andrew Srebnik also enjoys participating in the American Cancer Society’s yearly charity golf tournament as well as taking his family to Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut, for recreation and relaxation.
