Ami Katiyar

An accomplished and culturally proficient growth strategist with more than a decade of relevant experience, Ami Katiyar served as the Director of Global Strategy for Bombardier Aerospace, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. In this role, Ami Katiyar helped expand the company’s operations into international markets by designing and implementing comprehensive business strategies. While working on Bombardier Aerospace’s international expansion project, Ami Katiyar directly supervised a team of 16 employees taken from the Product Development, Marketing, and Strategy teams. Ami Katiyar launched the company’s three-year Mexico plan in Q2 2010, which represents more than $500 million in revenue and a return of more than 20 percent. In the wake of his successful expansion into Mexico, Ami Katiyar has currently evaluated and assessed plans for the company’s 2011 launch in other emerging markets. In addition to his efforts expanding Bombardier Aerospace, Inc. into international markets, Ami Katiyar has handled a number of strategic alliances and negotiations. By finalizing co-marketing deals with four major international airlines to pursue high net worth passengers flying in first class, Ami Katiyar developed a strategic partnership that promises $110 million in new and incremental revenue for the company’s U.S. private jet division. Before joining Bombardier Aerospace, Inc., Ami Katiyar held a number of executive marketing positions with a wide variety of businesses. In 2007 and 2008, Ami Katiyar served as the Senior Strategy Manager and Consultant to the Chief Marketing Officer of Levi Strauss, Inc. in New York City and San Francisco. Before joining Levi-Strauss, Inc., Ami Katiyar was Director of Global Operations Strategy for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. In 2000, Ami Katiyar founded Me.net, a Unified Communications Service start-up provider in New York City, as the company’s Vice President of Customer Strategy. Ami Katiyar also possesses work experience with Dell Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoope<wbr/>rs<wbr/> LLP.
