One of his industry’s most accomplished leaders, Victor Hogstrom has most recently served as the President and CEO of KCPT-TV in Kansas City, Missouri. Victor Hogstrom joined KCPT-TV in 2005, and he spent three years effecting vital changes in its marketing and overall operations as well as its community presence. Victor Hogstrom’s team returned a net of $3.6M in his last year with the company, and its debt had been reduced from $7M to $600,000. KCPT-TV was awarded several Missouri Broadcasters Awards and Emmys during Victor Hogstrom’s tenure. Before he came to KCPT-TV, Victor Hogstrom held senior executive and managerial roles at Emmy-winning stations, including WTCI-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee; KIXE-TV in Redding, California; and WPTI-TV in Rockford, Illinois, where he launched the first public cablecast station. Over his career, Victor Hogstrom has also hosted and produced his own program and taught telecommunications and other courses at the collegiate level. In total, Victor Hogstrom possesses more than 25 years of demonstrated excellence in business development, fiscal management, personnel management, and community relations. Victor Hogstrom is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and he holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications, as well as a Bachelor’s in International Relations. In his leisure time, Victor Hogstrom enjoys hobbies like reading, golfing, and playing basketball, and he belongs to Sigma Pi Phi and Rotary International.
