In the course of his 30-plus-year career, Thomas Trantum has worked in the private sector, as well as for the United States government as a federal employee. Mr. Trantum successfully translated his career on Wall Street into a Presidential appointment as a Commissioner for the Interstate Commerce Commission under President Jimmy Carter, later returning to the private sector as a C-level executive. Thomas Trantum understands the principles of money management, and he knows how to apply those concepts to the modern, fluid economic environment. Thomas Trantum, along with his son, Josh, founded Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC in December 2006. As the President of Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC, Thomas Trantum uses his many years of experience in the finance industry to guide the startup money management firm. Thomas Trantum has oriented Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC to focus on a client base of individual equity investors pursuing a portfolio of individual stocks, investment funds, and individual separate accounts. Thomas Trantum is responsible for all aspects of Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC, including research and marketing. To date, Thomas Trantum has been very successful at Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC, with the firm outperforming the S&P 500 in individual stock management. Thomas Trantum earned his Master of Business Administration from the Stern School at New York University. Mr. Trantum is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and the President of the Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee. Outside of financial services, Thomas Trantum is the Co-Founder of TNT Watersports, a leading dealer for Malibu, Nautique, Advantage, and Premier boats.
