A veteran healthcare executive, Mr. Thomas McNaull brings more than 30 years of high-level managerial experience to his current role as Chairman and CEO of MedStar Partners, LLC. In this position since 2007, Thomas McNaull specializes in consulting for hospitals suffering financial or operational problems. Prior to founding MedStar Partners, Thomas McNaull served as the President and CEO of AMT Group, Inc. (American MedTrust) in Atlanta, Georgia. During his tenure with AMT Group, Mr. Thomas McNaull implemented a number of strategic initiatives that greatly strengthened the company and raised annual revenues in excess of $100M without the need for venture-backed or equity capital.

Thomas McNaull began his career in healthcare management with the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). Holding several positions within the HCA network, Thomas McNaull initially served as Assistant Controller for Humana Hospital of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida before becoming Chief Financial Officer of Rockdale Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Thomas McNaull subsequently became the Associate Administrator and Chief Financial Officer of Coral Reef Hospital in Miami, Florida. Upon leaving HCA, Thomas McNaull joined Charter Medical Corporations (CMC), where he successfully directed the financial management of several hospitals. Eventually, Thomas McNaull would manage the finances of over 100 hospitals as the Vice President of the CMC Hospital Division and President of CMC Information Systems.

Extensively educated, Thomas McNaull holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Florida and an MBA from Emory University. Thomas McNaull has also completed a number of professional development courses, including several leadership and executive management programs from Harvard Business School. Thomas McNaull currently maintains membership in the Federation of American Hospitals, the American Hospital Association, and the HBS Healthcare Industry Alumni Association.
