About me
Graduating from the University of Utah College of Business with a BS in Finance, Richard Surber later earned a JD at his alma mater’s College of Law, concentrating on corporate law, securities, taxation, and bankruptcy. Since 1998, Richard Surber has acted as CEO of Nexia Holdings, Inc. and has succeeded at substantially increasing Nexia’s revenues as well as opening several retail locations. Recently, Richard Surber launched a new strategy for acquiring real estate. Under this plan, seven new properties in northern Utah have been targeted, totaling $1.6 million. Hoping that these acquisitions will serve to facilitate future accessions, Richard Surber is envisioning imminent growth and further profitability for his company. As Director of Green Endeavors, Ltd., a subsidiary of Nexia Holdings, Richard Surber has recently applied for the company to be publicly traded. Through Green Endeavors, Richard Surber is the CEO of Landis Salons, Inc., which operates two salons in Utah. A member of the California Bar, Richard Surber continues to practice law on a limited basis, focusing on matters involving complex corporate and securities law. Also accomplished in the world of finance, Richard Surber has helped multiple private companies secure financing through legal proceedings such as spin-off transactions and reverse mergers.
