About me
Mr. Keith Smaldon was educated in London, England, at the Aristotle School, where he concentrated his studies on English, mathematics, and French. Since then, Keith Smaldon has attended courses in marketing and branding at Harvard University; gained accreditation in United States Commercial, Marine, and Personal Lines Insurance from the College of Insurance in New York; and been certified in Risk Management and Commercial Insurance by the Chartered Insurance Institute in London. The most formative years of Keith Smaldon’s education, however, were an eight-year period as an Apprentice Broker at Lloyd’s of London. Keith Smaldon’s rigorous apprenticeship paired him with Lloyd’s underwriters as a representative of both United States and international intermediaries. An established sales and marketing strategist, Keith Smaldon has successfully rebranded a subsidiary and start-up of two large companies within the United States. Not only did Keith Smaldon redefine and broaden their target markets, but he also fostered new internal organizational capabilities that led to impressive profit growth and a high level of sustained revenue for both companies. Possessing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in risk management, Keith Smaldon knows how to direct a company’s finances and image to increase client bases and encourage stable increases in earnings, especially for fledgling businesses. In addition to his prowess in business and finance, Keith Smaldon served in the British Military’s Territorial Army for almost six years. Quickly rising in rank, Keith Smaldon became a Sergeant in the second Company of the 10th Battalion, Parachute Regiment, in London. In 1969, Keith Smaldon participated in a remarkable jump over Arnhem Bridge in Holland, a feat celebrating the 25th anniversary of Operation Market Garden, which took place during World War II to secure bridges along the Rhine River. Together with 3,000 fellow soldiers, Keith Smaldon commemorated this important event with the impressive jump.
