Dr. Keith Berman is a specialist in plastic surgical procedures of the face, body, and breast. He has performed thousands of procedures in his state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical facility located on Staten Island, New York. Dr. Keith Berman graduated from SUNY (State University of New York) Downstate Medical Center’s class of 1991. He completed his general surgery residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in 1996 and his plastic surgery residency at the UMass Memorial Medical Center two years later. From 1999 to 2003, Dr. Keith Berman served as the primary plastic surgeon at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Department of Surgery, where he evaluated patients with a variety of plastic surgery issues. <br/><br/>Dr. Keith Berman belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society of North America, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Berman contributed to the advancement of the profession and science of hand surgery, presenting his insights in a section of the Annals of Plastic Surgery and in lectures to the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New England Hand Society. <br/><br/>Dr. Keith Berman provides independent disability and liability examinations of injured insurance claimants, covering a broad range of cosmetic surgery complaints, facial fractures, burns, scars, and hand injuries. His computerized in-house evaluation reports include digital photo documentation of each patient’s area of complaint, allowing for a scientific and professional evaluation of claims.
