For more than 25 years, Karyn D. Malm has proven to be a unique presence in the realms of education, nonprofits, and fundraising. Listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who, the International Who’s Who of Women, Who’s Who in Education, and Who’s Who in the Midwest, Karyn D. Malm has garnered numerous accolades for her work in the Chicago, Illinois region and elsewhere. A former member of the Board and Executive Committee of the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education (NAPAHE); past Vice President and member of the Board of Directors at Naperville Community Television (Channel 17) in Naperville, Illinois; and former President of the Rotary Club of Chicago, Karyn D. Malm has spread her efforts in volunteerism across several disciplines. Currently, Karyn D. Malm serves as a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP); Committee Co-Chair of Chicago Women in Philanthropy; Precinct Committeeman of Naperville Township; and has recently become a member of the Near South Planning Board in Chicago. Karyn D. Malm holds membership in various other humanitarian and charitable organizations. Since 1995, Karyn D. Malm has held the title of Assistant to the President at Robert Morris University Illinois, formerly Robert Morris College, in Chicago, where she manages all facets of community, media, and public relations, among other duties. Karyn D. Malm entered her current role after a successful term as Director of Development at Robert Morris University Illinois. Former positions held by Karyn D. Malm include Director of Admissions, Development and Public Relations at the Avery Coonley School; and Development Assistant at Little Friends, Inc. Karyn D. Malm earned an M.S. from Northern Illinois University, a B.S. from North Central College, and multiple professional certificates from the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago. In her free time, Karyn D. Malm enjoys golf, sailing, and international travel.
