Dermatologist Dr. Tim Rosio has effected positive change at the local, national, and international levels. Dr. Tim Rosio reaches out to his community in California and beyond by working with organizations like the Boy Scouts, serving on a national health care committee, donating dermatological supplies to troops overseas, and performing surgery on scarred children in Indonesia. Since he was an undergraduate student, Dr. Tim Rosio has demonstrated his determination and intellect through his passion for medicine. A member of Phi Beta Kappa and one of the most distinguished graduates of his class at the University of Arizona, Dr. Tim Rosio received his BS in Biological Sciences before enrolling at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. In the years to follow, Dr. Tim Rosio accumulated more honors at the graduate and post-graduate level. Dr. Tim Rosio studied dermatology in London through an Arizona Health Sciences Center Study Award and anesthesiology in San Diego, California, through an ASA Preceptorship. In 1983, Dr. Tim Rosio completed his residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at the world-class Stanford University School of Medicine. Evidencing his talent for teaching as well as for clinical work, Dr. Tim Rosio later became Director of the UC Davis Medical Center Department of Dermatology’s Cosmetic, Laser, and Skin Surgery Program and has headed world-renowned classes on medical lasers. Throughout his career, Dr. Tim Rosio has also contributed to dermatology textbooks and periodicals, authoring over 20 articles. Dr. Tim Rosio now practices at and owns AnewSKIN Dermatology in El Dorado Hills and Auburn, California, where he remains equally dedicated to charitable work and advancements in his field. Recently, AnewSKIN and Dr. Tim Rosio began offering the Zerona Laser, the latest in cold laser cosmetic technology.
