Personal life coach Carol Raffo holds a Master's degree in Psychology from New Jersey's Fairleigh Dickinson University and has completed almost a decade of professional counseling experience. Raffo's academic accomplishments show in her 4.0 grade point average and acceptance into the Phi Omega Epsilon and Psi Chi honor societies. Her career is likewise punctuated by numerous achievements, such as her successful design and implementation of a Workplace Violence Policy for communications company Telcordia Technologies. Carol Raffo joined Telcordia Technologies in 1999, acting as a consultant to the Employee Assistant Program. In addition to creating a Workplace Violence Policy, she developed a domestic violence group for the company, assisted the director of the EAP, and counseled employees whenever necessary. In 2006, Carol Raffo began serving in her current position as a personal life coach. She aids her clients in discovering and achieving their aspirations. Raffo establishes a mutually trusting and supportive relationship with each of her clients and provides them with the resources they need to pursue their goals. Outside of work, Carol Raffo continues to strengthen her abilities as a therapist by working with disadvantaged teenagers in Outward Bound programs and counseling families that have survived domestic abuse. She also volunteers with Valhalla's Pirates, an adventure-themed performance group that entertains sick and disabled children. Raffo's personal and professional affiliations also reflect her passions and her success. She regularly participates in the Appalachian Mountain Hiking Club and the Sailing Club of New Jersey and holds membership in the American Counseling Association and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.
