Beverly Stayart serves as CFO for Stayart Law Offices. She coordinates all legal research and evidentiary discovery, in addition to meeting with clients. Bev Stayart earned her BA in English Literature from the University of Iowa and her MBA from the University of Chicago. Beverly Stayart is an experienced genealogist with a special interest in Native American ancestry. Beverly Stayart has a famous ancestor, James Bowles Stephens, who founded East Porltand, Oregon, which later merged with West Portland. She also counts Robert Fulton, the talented American inventor, among her ancestors. Bev Stayart supports St. Joseph's Indian School, which benefits Lakota children of South Dakota through education and preservation of Native American culture. Beverly Stayart supports the Humane Society of the United States, Defenders of Wildlife and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Beverly Stayart is actively involved in preserving the wild horse population of the western states and preventing the aerial shooting of wolves. In 2009, the Humane Society of the United States honored Beverly Stayart with an Award for helping to lead the campaign to preserve the baby seal population in Eastern Canada by soliciting company, restaurant and consumer support of the international commercial boycott of Canadian seafood.
