Since founding the company in 2003, Andy Kurtzig has successfully grown JustAnswer.com into a Quantcast.com Top 300 website. Prior to establishing JustAnswer.com, Andy Kurtzig served as the CEO of eBenefits, an Internet-based human resource management service for small businesses. Over his seven-year tenure leading the company, Andy Kurtzig positioned eBenefits for significant success by raising more than $8M in venture capital funding and developing positive relationships with a number of prominent Fortune 500 companies, including Automatic Data Processing and Marsh & McLennan. Andy Kurtzig founded eBenefits in 1996. After seven years of growth, Mr. Kurtzig sold eBenefits to an Inc. 500 firm in October 2003. Andy Kurtzig received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. While completing his Bachelor’s degree, Andy Kurtzig launched his first entrepreneurial endeavor: ANSER Corp. Established in 1994, ANSER provided calendar automation software to clients in the newspaper industry. Under Andy Kurtzig’s leadership, ANSER acquired several prominent clients, including the San Francisco Bay Guardian and The Post Newspaper Group. In 1996, Andy Kurtzig sold ANSER to the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Outside of his professional life, Andy Kurtzig actively supports a number of charitable causes, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Andy Kurtzig, with his wife Sara, founded The Royal Ball, a fairytale-themed fundraising event in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to raising support for diabetes research.
