About me
Dr. Alli Antar currently studies genes that contribute to adipocyte metabolism at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Alli Antar completed her graduate PhD studies at the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University, where she received the VUMC-NIH/CHHD Reproductive Biology Predoctoral Training Grant Award and the Lupus Foundation of America Student Stipend Award. Supplementing her role as a research scientist, Dr. Alli Antar is a member of the American Physiological Society, American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Heart Association, Endocrine Society, Obesity Society, American Diabetes Association, and the scientific honor society Sigma Xi. Dr. Antar has authored and co-authored several papers on the topics of glucocorticoid regeneration in murine thymus and atherosclerosis and metabolism.
