With over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, entrepreneur Alferd T. Culbreth has forged a place among the world’s leading communications executives. After graduating from high school, Alferd T. Culbreth continued his education at the University of West Georgia. Subsequently, Alferd T. Culbreth enrolled at the DeVry University in Miami, Florida where he earned a number of certifications and degrees. A Certified Electrical Engineer and licensed in Electrical Engineering Technology, Alferd T. Culbreth also holds an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering. Since his graduation, Alferd T. Culbreth has also gained licensure from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Alferd T. Culbreth began his career as a Technical Engineer at Raytheon Corp. in a division called Telex Computer. At this position he worked with mainframe computing, including systems engineering and integration. After two years at Raytheon, Alferd T. Culbreth accepted a position at the DEC Corporation, working as a Field Engineer and installing both wide area and local area networks directly in client homes and businesses. Three years later, the sales division at the SOLID Computer Corporation hired Alferd T. Culbreth. Due to a natural sales ability, his annual revenues totaled more than $120 million. Alferd T. Culbreth was eventually promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Continuing his sales career at AT&T, Alferd T. Culbreth quickly gained recognition and was honored with a number of company awards for his outstanding performance. In 1998, Alferd T. Culbreth again shifted his focus, turning to entrepreneurship. Founding the M5COM Corporation, Alfred T. Culbreth met with success on an international level and shortly thereafter founded a second international telecommunications company, TelTec Communications, Inc. Alfred T. Culbreth continues to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of TelTec Communications. He also uses his finely honed expertise to chair the White Light Telecommunications Corp.
