About me
Lieutenant Colonel Alexis Fecteau served as a highly respected and decorated fighter pilot, Director of Operations, and commanding officer during his tenure with the U.S. Air Force. In addition to earning numerous accolades and service medals for his successful combat leadership, Alexis Fecteau supervised hundreds of subordinate officers and administered numerous initiatives during his career. Alexis Fecteau graduated from Air War College as an "Excellent Graduate", graduated from Air Command and Staff College, and received the Top Briefing and Top Academic Awards as a graduate of Squadron Officer School. During fighter training, Alexis Fecteau received recognition as a five-time F-15 Top Gun, an 836th Air Division Top Gun for Rockets, and Top Formation and Instrument Pilot during pilot training and numerous other awards and honors. Among his 3,500 hours of flight time, Alexis Fecteau accumulated 500 hours over the skies of Iraq and Bosnia, where he flew 99 combat missions. In honor of his service and heroism, Alexis Fecteau holds 7 Air Medals, 2 Aerial Achievement Medals, the NATO Service Medal and the Kuwait Liberation medal from the governments of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. In addition to achieving the Meritorious Service Medal, Alexis Fecteau received decorations for his search and rescue mission involving a downed helicopter, saving the lives of two individuals who were not even known to be missing. Serving in command positions at the Air Force, Alexis Fecteau functioned as the Director of Reserve Operations for the first-ever National Security Space Institute (NSSI) and established a new reserve unit to support the active duty functions. Alexis Fecteau held responsibility for the development and funding of a 56-member unit, which he established himself, handling all hires, interviews, and leadership assessments. In his capacity at NSSI, Alexis Fecteau oversaw portions of the development of the Space 200 and 300 courses using rigorous Instructional System Development methods.
