Currently responsible for microcontroller Channel Marketing and Business Development at Texas Instruments, Aaron Grassian has distinguished himself with sales and marketing in the semiconductor industry for over a decade. Aaron Grassian joined Texas Instruments in 2009 after a series of successful positions at SigmaTel, Luminary Micro, and Motorola.<wbr/><br/><wbr/><br/>At<wbr/>Texas Instruments, Aaron Grassian manages the growth of Texas Instruments’ MCU Developer Program and created an Third Party Applications Tool Chest that allows potential customers to easily design products around the Stellaris, MSP430, and C2000 MCU product families. Through his initiatives, Aaron Grassian is increasing the amount of solutions available for Texas Instruments' customers.<wbr/><br/><wbr/><br/>Employed<wbr/>by the start-up company Luminary Micro since 2006, Aaron Grassian joined Texas Instruments when it acquired Luminary Micro in 2009. Previously at Luminary Micro, Aaron Grassian served as the Asia Pacific Sales Manager and Director of Sales for Asia Pacific, where he built and led a sales team of sixteen distributors throughout Asia, from India and China to Korea and New Zealand. Aaron Grassian also helped develop several sales protocols for the company, including forecasting, revenue recognition, and requests for quotes. Luminary Micro was the second successful start-up company that employed Aaron Grassian.<wbr/><br/><wbr/><br/>From<wbr/>2000 until 2006, Aaron Grassian served at SigmaTel, initially a start-up semiconductor company whose audio processors were used in Apple’s first-generation iPod shuffle products and several other MP3 players. Aaron Grassian held a range of positions at SigmaTel and distinguished himself as the Regional Sales Manager for Greater China and later the Director of Global Distribution.<wbr/><br/><wbr/><br/>Aaron<wbr/>Grassian graduated with high honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, in 1997. An ardent musician, Aaron Grassian played electric bass for BySaturday, a band based in Austin, Texas, from 2000 until 2008.<br/>
