I have had the privilege of working on renowned brands including Oberoi, Trident Group of Hotels, Airtel, ING Vysya, Microsoft, Harvard Business School, Business Octane, Moolchand, Mail Today, Dura-Line, Philips, The Alternative Board (USA) and India Today Book Club. I have been actively involved in creating persuasive copy while developing marketing plans for various businesses as well as new pitches at Wunderman.
Worked as a Copywriter at Rai Foundation, the largest network of professional colleges in India, from March 2007 till August 2007. I helped the organisation build a new strategy to reach out to their prospective students by highlighting the "Successful Students” using the slogan “Real Success, Real People.” I optimized their websites with persuasive copy while devising Ad campaigns and brochures that generated a 3-fold increase in business.
Have also done some freelance work for Client’s First (New Jersey, US), Philips Design, Italics a.k.a Markigence , & TCSAI (www.elance.com) among other regional clients
Worked with Chandigarh Polytechnic for Women, Chandigarh, in the Position of Manager Branding & Communications where I was instrumental in creating a new brand strategy for the college. With PR Events and Ad Campaigns focusing on "Empowerment of women" I was able to create a very positive word of mouth in a short while. While on job I was given a chance to teach Mass Communications and Advertising. Teaching students was something I really enjoyed, I guess my blog www.demystifyingcopy writing.blogspot.com is just a way I let loose the teacher inside of me.
