Singhealth, the largest healthcare group in Singapore, manages more than 1200 medical doctors from MOs to Specialists.
Integrated Medical Manpower System (IMMS) that has been developed and implemented, is a robust, scalable, dynamic self service portal offering a central depository and sharing of information while improving Medical Manpower Department’s work processes and managing career paths of medical professionals within the Singhealth. It is a software suite built on J2EE standards containing modules for career / department / institution / group posting, training management, sponsorship management, performance / assessment & appraisal management etc.
IMMS backend rest on MS-SQL 2000 while its application engine sits on JBOSS with MS Internet Information Server as the intranet host serving the entire Singhealth group.
A new leave module will be introduced in 2009 for the doctors and consultants. Leave rules will contain architecture of artificial intelligence to manage the dynamic environment.

MDSS contains multiple extremely complex modules. One of it, Signalling and Alerting Module (SAM), helps command centers detect potential dangers, problems or anomalies during their daily work. It generates alarms from data available in the IS System from weather measuring stations, vehicles, and hardwares.

The Gaylin Enterprise System (GES) has been developed as part of the effort to computerized Gaylin’s operations.
