About Taste This TV
A refreshing new take on the average cooking show, Taste This T.V.! brings viewers on a fun and entertaining trip into the kitchen of world-renowned Chef Joe Ciminera. Focused on exposing viewers to the diverse possibilities of organic foods, Taste This T.V.! delivers unique adventures in every new episode. Because the show is never taped in the same location twice, viewers are never sure what to expect. In any given episode, Chef Ciminera may visit a winery and talk to a sommelier, learn planting tips from an organic farmer, or drop in to the kitchen of a popular restaurant to see how local food makes its way into their kitchens and onto their plates. A Certified Executive Chef (CEC), Joe Ciminera developed his unique approach to cooking in the kitchens of some of worlds top restaurants. Formerly employed at Le Cirque, Les Celebrites, Le Petite Bijou, and Carmines, Chef Ciminera received his formal training in cooking under the direction of many famous chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Christian Doulevere, Pierre Manor, Mike Depirito, Jean Louis Pallidan, and Master Chef Vincenzo Provino. For his exceptional cooking prowess, Chef Joe Ciminera has received numerous awards, including the European American Culinary Councils Gross Bonnet award. Chef Ciminera was the youngest recipient of the Gross Bonnet in the history of the award. Before hosting Taste This T.V.!, Chef Joe Ciminera developed a strong fan following as the host of Joseph Plays with Food and Eat at Joes. Chef Ciminera has also published two books, In the Weeds: A Chefs Tales and Joseph Cimineras New American Cooking, which have sold well over one million copies worldwide.
