My name is Wilma Jones. I have recently started my own transcription typing business which is essentially a home-based business. Just to give you an idea of my experience, I worked as an administration clerk for the South African Police Service for 12 years and during this time, I was often asked to do Dictaphone typing of disciplinary hearings and meetings that had been held. Furthermore, I have also worked as a transcription typist for two companies who did legal and medical transcription for UK legal firms, which covered work in areas such as Property, Wills and Probate, Family and Child Law, Criminal Law, Matrimonial Law and Fishing and Shipping Law; and medical trusts based in the UK. As I love working on a computer and also love typing, I really enjoyed this last position and hence I have decided to start my own transcription company. Being a single parent, it was important for me to do something that I could do from home, and that was also my criteria when I screened candidates for employment. I have a few employees, who I trust completely to be able to perform their duties from home and keep to deadlines.

As noted above, we have extensive experience in Legal and Medical Transcription, copy typing of reports, standard contracts etc and also conference typing.

We guarantee 98.5% and above accuracy for all our reports. This is subject to the quality of the audio and the dictation.

Our Rate

We charge 9 cents (US$) per line at the current currency conversion rate. A line is calculated as total number of characters including spaces divided by 65. We provide STAT services where we return the work in 4 hours for which we charge 20 cents (US$) per line.

Turn Around Time (TAT)

We will return the work in 36 hours. Once we are through with the learning curve, we would further optimize to return the work in 24 hours. We provide STAT services where we return the work in 4 hours.
