Urban Adjusters, LLC was founded by its CEO and President, Johnell Sutton in 2007. Sutton grew up on the westside of Chicago, Illinois. After 10 years away, he became to realize that Chicagoland's low-and-moderate income residents were still provided with substandard housing and businesses despite ongoing city developments elsewhere. He was further displeased with the widespread property boardup and demolition process that the city had enacted to combat neighborhood blight. Therein, Sutton began using his business skills and real estate investment knowlege to develop a businessplan to preserve the historic character of Chicagoland, so he began Urban Adjusters, LLC.

The mission of Urban Adjusters, LLC is to leverage investment capital through the acquisition and cost-conscious but value-minded renovations of select underperforming single-and-multi family residential properties that increase the quality and availabilty of affordable housing in Chicagoland.

Our business model of acquiring distressed single-and-multi family residential properties will help preserve the historic value of neighborhoods across Chicagoland. We believe that by redeveloping these dilapidated residential structures and vacant plots of land into desirable housing units, it could attract quality businesses and reinvestment into these once impoverished communities.

By repositioning these unsecured properties and blightend areas, we will eventually close these areas that have traditionally served as safe havens for drugs and gangs.
